When I started developing products, I quickly discovered how many skincare products contained ingredients that didn't really do much for the skin. They provided a pleasant sensation upon application, a silky surface, or a temporary effect, but didn't always help the skin become stronger or healthier in the long run.
I wanted to create something different.
I wanted to develop skincare where every ingredient has a clear function. Where nature's most powerful raw materials meet modern dermatological research. Where we choose ingredients for what they actually do – not just for how they feel.
That became the foundation of YAG.

This gives us control over quality, raw materials, and the manufacturing process. We can work closely with our suppliers, carefully select ingredients, and continue to develop products without compromise.

We believe in well-thought-out formulations.
Every ingredient should have a purpose.
Therefore, we avoid ingredients primarily used to create a temporary sensation or a marketing argument, when better alternatives exist.
Instead, we focus on ingredients that strengthen the skin barrier, deeply moisturize, and help the skin function as it was designed to do.
Innovation with respect for nature
We are fascinated by nature's inherent intelligence.
Therefore, we enjoy working with innovative ingredients from sustainable sources – such as Algica®, a Swedish-developed biotechnological ingredient from diatoms. It's an example of how nature and research can together create something that is both effective and responsible.
